Barnaby Griffiths
When I first began developing Language and Communication Coaching, my hope was simple: to help language teachers make their work more effective, more enjoyable and ultimately more rewarding for both themselves and their learners.

Today, it is incredibly encouraging to see LCC being used by teachers, trainers, schools and universities in a growing number of countries around the world. Through workshops, teacher training programmes, online courses and this book, educators across Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East are applying its principles in their own teaching contexts.

My aim has never been to replace good teaching, but to build on it by bringing together the best of communicative language teaching, coaching and practical classroom experience. If this book helps you see your teaching from a fresh perspective or gives you just one idea that makes a real difference to your learners, then it has achieved its purpose.
